Intravenous sedation is a simpler and safer alternative to hospital general anesthesia. During the procedure, you will be attended by the treating dentist, a sedation specialist, and a nurse.
You will remain in a very relaxed but conscious state, with little memory of the procedure or the numbing process. A chaperone will be needed to escort you home afterward.
